IFG Group plc. is a financial services company, headquartered in Dublin, with overseas operations in the UK, Isle of Man, Jersey, Cyprus and Switzerland.
In October 1989, following corporate restructuring, trading commenced in the company's shares in Dublin. Since then, in pursuit of a strategy to develop a core of specialist financial services activities, with significant recurring income, the Group has completed a number of acquisitions of financial services companies and commenced new operations.
Principal acquisitions over the period were IFG International Limited and IFG Quigley Limited (1989), IFG Financial Services Limited, IFG Life and Pensions Limited (1990), First National Trustee Company Limited (1992), Santhouse Whittington Actuarial Services Limited (1997), Planlife Advisory Services Limited and IFG Trust (Jersey) Limited (2000), Saunderson House Limited (2001), Pensions Associates Limited, John Siddalls Limited, IPS Pensions Limited and Trade Credit Brokers Limited (2002).
New businesses commenced include the mortgage and title operations of the Group.
Today the shares are listed on the Dublin and London Stock Exchanges.
